This exercise develops the size and strength of the triceps. It involves all three triceps heads, especially the long and upper ones.
Lie down on a horizontal bench.
Grasp a barbell with an overhand grip with your arms straight.
As you inhale, bend your elbows, without extending your elbows out too wide, so that you are able to lower the bar to your forehead or behind your head.
Straighten your arms, as you exhale.
Do not take a heavy weight, it can injury your elbow joints.
Using an EZ curl bar can relieve the wrist joints.
You may lower the bar to your forehead as opposed to over your head but be especially careful.
