Privacy Policy

The Fitmeup application is provided by Quasar Systems, 16 Raffles Quay, #33­02, Hong Leong Building, Singapore 048581 (hereinafter referred to as "Fitmeup"). This data protection declaration provides information on how we use and protect your data on the Fitmeup application. Using the Fitmeup application implies that you accept the terms set forth in this data protection declaration. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Fitmeup application. This data protection declaration applies to all members from the time they first log in at Fitmeup, thereby acknowledging acceptance of this data protection declaration.

1. General

Fitmeup application collects do not let users to access any personal profiles and data of any other users.

Email addresses also will not be shared with any other users. They may, however, be automatically added to the Fitmeup mailing lists. From time to time Fitmeup may email you electronic newsletters, announcements, surveys or other information. If you prefer not to receive any or all of these communications, you may opt out by following the directions provided within the electronic newsletters and announcements.

2. Types of Personally Identifiable Information Collected by Fitmeup

Fitmeup collects different types of personally identifiable information, such as email, weight, gender and age, first name, last name and location, training information of all users upon registration and in connection with the usage of the Fitmeup application.

  • Profile information which users can freely enter, change and delete via settings such as: first name and last name, location, gender
  • Training information that will be stored when users save their workout results
  • Email addresses

Non-personally identifiable data shall be saved and may be used in particular to offer application to the members and new users, to improve application and for marketing and advertisement purposes.

3. Use and Sharing of Personally Identifiable and Non­personally Identifiable Information With Third Parties

By registering, the user explicitly agrees that Fitmeup shall have the right to use all automatically collected personally identifiable information for purposes of the Fitmeup application and future web services. Other users can't see the information named above.

Fitmeup does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer users personally identifiable information (see section II above) to outside parties. Fitmeup may pass personal identifiable information to third parties if the user explicitly gives permission.

Fitmeup implements all reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access by third parties to saved details.

However, Fitmeup assumes no liability for the interception, alteration, or misuse of the information you provide by other users.

The user explicitly consents that Fitmeup may provide non-personally identifiable information to other parties for marketing, advertising or other uses.

4. Facebook Integration

The Fitmeup application integrates different connection to the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. An overview of Facebook integrations and social plugins can be found here: http://developers.Facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When users enable the Facebook connection, the Facebook integration establishes a connection between a user and the Facebook server. Thereby, Fitmeup receives information about the user. This information will be treated as stated in section 2.

When users share their workout results on Facebook and when they invite friends via Facebook, the Facebook integration establishes a connection between a user and the Facebook server. Thereby, the user links information of his Fitmeup account to his or her Facebook account. That allows Facebook to correlate a user’s usage of the Fitmeup application with the corresponding users Facebook account. Quasar Systems SG as the provider of the Fitmeup application does not have any knowledge of the future data usage by Facebook. 5. Flurry Analytics

The Fitmeup application uses Flurry Analytics, an analysis service by Yahoo! Inc., 701 First Avenue Sunnyvale, CA 94089, USA. Flurry Analytics allows Quasar Systems SG to analyze the Fitmeup application usage.

The information about your visit collected by Flurry Analytics is usually transferred to a Flurry server in the USA and saved there. Flurry will use the information collected on behalf of the application operator to evaluate the users’ use of the application, to compile reports about the users’ activities within this application, and to provide further services for the application operator related to the use of the application. Fitmeup will not gather any personally identifiable information through Flurry Analytics.

By using Fitmeup application, the user explicitly consents that his or her information is collected via Flurry Analytics.

6. Changes to Privacy Policy

Fitmeup reserves the right to change this privacy policy from time to time. Users are advised to regularly check the privacy policy of Fitmeup.

7. Security

Fitmeup application uses services of Compose, Inc. (an IBM Company, 44 Tehama St, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA) to store user’s data. Quasar Systems SG as the provider of the Fitmeup application does not responsible data security measures taken by Compose. 8. Your Consent

By using our application, you consent to our privacy policy. Please also visit our Terms and Conditions within the settings section establishing the use, disclaimers, and limitations of liability governing the use of our application.
