Gravitron Dips

This is a basic exercise to develop the chest muscles and the triceps for those who can't perform classic dips yet.


Stand on the gravitron machine between the parallel bars.

Keeping your arms straight, rise up onto on the handles, go into the starting position by kneeling on the support.

As you inhale, slowly lower yourself by bending your elbows.

Lower yourself as slowly as possible until you feel the stretch in your chest muscles.

As you exhale, slowly raise up avoiding jerking your torso upwards.

Typical mistakes and tips

Avoid dropping your torso while lower yourself and jerking upwards on the way back up.

Look straight in front of you or at the floor.

The straighter your torso is, the more emphasis will be on the triceps.
